Michael P. Cohen founded MPC Entertainment in October 1974, laying the foundation for what has become one of the United Kingdom’s leading entertainment and talent management companies. Today, MPC continues to represent some of the most recognisable and respected personalities in entertainment, while remaining dedicated to discovering and developing the next generation of talent.
Beyond its core artist management business, MPC has evolved into a dynamic group with interests across multiple sectors of the creative industries – including television production, publishing, brand partnerships, digital media, voiceovers and content creation. The company has also been involved in licensing and merchandising ventures, from board games and books to TV formats and live events.
Before launching MPC, Michael was a trailblazer in the UK’s private telecommunications sector. His company, Empecey Telephones, played a pioneering role in opening up what had been a tightly controlled market. Under his leadership, the company experienced remarkable growth – tripling profits annually for three consecutive years – before he sold the business at just 28. The entrepreneurial expertise he gained through managing and owning more than 400 retail outlets became instrumental in shaping MPC’s long term vision and success.
For over four decades, MPC has built a reputation for identifying, nurturing and guiding talent to international acclaim. While the company continues to manage household names, it remains equally committed to innovation and to supporting emerging talent in an ever changing media landscape.
In 1999, MPC expanded into sports management, representing some of the world’s most iconic athletes in Cricket, Rugby and Tennis – including legends such as Shane Warne, Jonah Lomu, Wimbledon Champion Marion Bartoli and the world’s best Tennis coach Patrick Mouratoglou.
This diversification further strengthened MPC’s position as a global leader in talent representation and brand management.
JONATHAN COHEN

Jonathan joined MPC in May 2004 having spent six years working with the world’s top footballers including Ashley Cole, at the Stellar Group of Companies. Whilst at Stellar, Jonathan signed 60 young footballers many of whom have now been signed to major league clubs.
Now representing MPC’s many sports clients and dealing with ancillary activities including merchandising, mobile business, cd’s and books.
