Lizzie Greenwood-Hughes

Lizzie Greenwood-Hughes is an outstanding versatile RTS award-winning broadcaster with a successful career in sport, factual, news and entertainment Television and Radio.

Lizzie Greenwood-Hughes studied film and photography at Salisbury College of Art, which became Wiltshire College. She started her career as a Regional Station Assistant with BBC South in 1995. After a period doing various jobs within BBC television, she started presenting for the BBC on the children’s news programme ‘ Newsround ‘.

Her extensive and varied CV spans 10 years in front of the camera and includes The Football League Show, Newsround, Sportsround, The Wonderful World of Weird, the BBC News Channel and Countryfile. She has worked on many high-profile programmes for BBC Sport including The Grand National and Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

As well as her BBC commitments Lizzie has hosted the NatWest Cricket programme aired on www.natwest.com/cricket, has been reporting for PLTV (Premier League Television) and presented Wimbledon and The Open Golf for IMG in 2012 and 2014.

Lizzie is an experienced and accomplished host both in live, recorded and studio presentation. She also does voice overs, personal appearances and live event hosting.

Lizzie is a keen amateur sportswoman. Hockey is just one of her hobbies – she once played for the England mixed team and still plays for her local club side. She regularly jogs alongside her dog Zededee, a rescue lurcher and has completed the London Marathon.
